We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for aesthetic excellence in lighting design. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent space planning skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients to understand their lighting needs and deliver aesthetically pleasing designs, demonstrating proficiency in the entire lighting design process, including chandelier design, lighting layouts, and decorative vertical installations. The candidate must be adept at conceptualizing and communicating design ideas both verbally and visually.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working on project enquiries, understanding project requirements, selection of products and preparation of quotes.
• Preparation of technical submittals as per project requirements.
• Working on lighting design and preparation of renders as per project requirements.
• Doing project follow ups and updating the sales team.
• Meet with clients to determine their specific lighting needs and requirements.
• Manage design projects from concept development through to completion.
• Develop and present project proposals, incorporating unique lighting solutions.
• Prepare drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents, with a focus on lighting layouts that enhance functionality and ambiance.
• Design lighting schemes that elevate both the functionality and mood of spaces, ensuring that every element aligns with the client’s vision.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely project completion.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control throughout the implementation phase.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven track record in a similar role in the lighting industry
• Strong knowledge of lighting systems, technologies, and products
• Strong lighting design capabilities and handson experience on using lighting softwares like dialux
• Capability to understand project requirements and to propose suitable solution
• Self-motivated and result-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autocad and Dialux

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
