Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems, ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest standards of excellence.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures
• Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain documentation related to quality processes and procedures
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality management principles and best practices
• Monitor and evaluate supplier quality performance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Prepare and present quality reports to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong computer and database management skills, including experience with SharePoint
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality control methodologies
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality auditing processes
• Experience in process improvement techniques, such as Lean and Six Sigma
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret and apply industry standards and regulations
• ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or equivalent certification is preferred
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification is a plus
• Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
