Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha, Qatar. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our guest rooms and public areas.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and linens
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and economically
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the local area to assist guests with inquiries and directions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Understanding of safe lifting techniques and ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Basic English language skills for communicating with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
