Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Food Safety Officer to join our catering operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and company policies across all kitchen and catering activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily food preparation and handling procedures to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular hygiene and sanitation inspections in kitchens, storage areas, and catering units.
  • Ensure proper food storage temperatures and stock rotation practices (FIFO).
  • Train kitchen and service staff on food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain food safety documentation, records, and audit reports.
  • Coordinate with management during municipality inspections and external audits.
  • Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local health authority regulations and company SOPs.
  • Monitor pest control, cleaning schedules, and waste management procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or diploma in Food Safety, Nutrition, Microbiology, Hospitality, or related field.
  • HACCP Level 4 certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2โ€“4 years of experience in food safety within catering, hospitality, or food production.
  • Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced catering environment.
