Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all guests receive personalized and exceptional dining experiences reflecting authentic Levantine hospitality.
  • Handle VIP guests and special dining requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain luxury 5-star service standards at all times.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores, reviews, and feedback to continuously improve service quality.
  • Supervise daily operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service flow.
  • Ensure proper table setup, restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
  • Maintain service timing, food presentation, and quality control standards.
  • Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring restaurant colleagues.
  • Conduct daily briefings and shift meetings to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure grooming, appearance, and uniform standards are consistently maintained.
  • Monitor staff performance, productivity, and guest engagement.
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage team scheduling efficiently.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and revenue targets.
  • Control food and beverage costs in line with departmental objectives.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Handle cash operations, billing procedures, and POS systems accurately.
  • Prepare operational and performance reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, HACCP, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, luxury brand standards, and restaurant policies.
  • Promote and maintain strong knowledge of Levantine cuisine, traditions, and dining culture.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent guest relations and complaint-handling abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Levantine cuisine and fine dining service standards.
  • Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of wine and beverage service.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Previous experience in a Levantine restaurant concept is highly preferred.
