Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior IT Support / Helpdesk Technician with at least 1 year of experience in providing technical support. The ideal candidate will assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
  • Assist with user account management (password resets, access permissions).
  • Log and track support requests in the ticketing system.
  • Support IT inventory management and maintain documentation.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common IT hardware.
  • Familiarity with network basics (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP addressing).
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and CCTV.
