Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting requirements.
- Prepare and review VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Support tax planning, audits, and financial reporting activities.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts when required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and tax compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a tax consultancy, accounting firm, or audit environment.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, or ERP systems.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines efficiently.
