We are seeking an experienced Assistant Training Manager with hospitality & hotel industry experience to support the learning and development function within our hotel operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring training programs that enhance employee performance, service excellence, and career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing training and development strategies across departments.
  • Identify training needs through performance evaluations and operational requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate employee performance improvements.
  • Establish performance metrics and track productivity outcomes.
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with brand and company standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address skill gaps and enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Assist associates in creating long-term career development plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, or Talent Development within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with performance management and career development programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Marriott experience is an advantage.
