QState is seeking an experienced and proactive Building Maintenance In-Charge to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage maintenance teams while maintaining professional relationships with tenants.

Knowledge of Arabic will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the building maintenance team.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate and attend maintenance requests from tenants promptly and professionally.
• Maintain excellent relationships with tenants and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Inspect buildings regularly to identify maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance works.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local authority regulations.
• Monitor maintenance costs, materials, and inventory.
• Prepare maintenance reports and update management on work progress.
• Ensure all maintenance works are completed within the required quality and time standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or property maintenance within the UAE.
• Proven experience leading and supervising maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, civil maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle tenant complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• UAE Driving Licence is preferred.
• Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
