Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café & Restaurant Supervisor to manage daily operations, lead staff, and ensure outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- Train, motivate, and schedule team members.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve complaints effectively.
- Oversee daily operations, cleanliness, and food safety compliance.
- Manage inventory, stock orders, and cash handling.
- Monitor performance, control costs, and support profitability.
- Maintain equipment and uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
- Support menu planning, promotions, and special events.
- Perform opening/closing duties and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (hospitality degree preferred).
- 3+ years in a supervisory role within food service.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- POS and basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
