Cashier

The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Cashier to manage billing and payment processes at Gran Caffรจ. As one of the last interactions a guest has before leaving, you play an important role in ensuring their experience ends on a warm and professional note.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process guest payments accurately using cash, card, and digital payment methods
  • Issue receipts, manage bills, and handle split payments or special billing requests
  • Operate and reconcile the POS system at the end of each shift
  • Maintain a balanced and accurate cash drawer at all times
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and correct billing
  • Handle guest queries regarding bills with patience and professionalism
  • Report discrepancies, voids, or irregularities to the supervisor promptly
  • Uphold the presentation and conduct standards of Gran Caffรจ at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior experience as a cashier in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
  • A polite, professional, and guest-focused demeanor
  • Ability to handle busy service periods calmly and efficiently
  • Honest, trustworthy, and accountable in handling cash and transactions
  • Experience in Dubai or the GCC region is an advantage
