Job Summary:

The Workshop Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the automotive workshop, ensuring a safe, organized, and professional working environment for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the workshop floor, service bays, offices, waiting area, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and remove dirt, grease, oil, and debris from the workshop.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Clean workshop equipment, tools, and workstations as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, pantry, and staff facilities.
• Refill cleaning supplies, soap, tissue, and other consumables when required.
• Ensure walkways and work areas remain free from hazards and obstructions.
• Assist in organizing workshop materials and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Perform any other cleaning or housekeeping duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in an automotive workshop or industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of workplace hygiene and safety practices.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required.
