Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworkingย Commis Chefย to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure consistency in quality, and maintain a clean and organized work environment while learning from experienced chefs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing ingredients and basic cooking under the supervision of senior chefs.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team in day-to-day operations to ensure timely service.
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards accurately.
- Assist in minimizing waste and controlling food costs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a restaurant or hotel preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
