Commis Chef

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworkingย Commis Chefย to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure consistency in quality, and maintain a clean and organized work environment while learning from experienced chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients and basic cooking under the supervision of senior chefs.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
  • Support the kitchen team in day-to-day operations to ensure timely service.
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards accurately.
  • Assist in minimizing waste and controlling food costs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef in a restaurant or hotel preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
