Overview

We are looking for a reliable Driver cum Technician to support our technical team with physical installation work and daily driving duties. The role involves cabling, mounting devices, assisting senior technicians, and driving company vehicles for material delivery and site visits.

Key ResponsibilitiesDriving Duties

• Drive company vehicle for material pickup, delivery, and technician transport.
• Ensure safe driving and compliance with UAE traffic rules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
• Keep daily trip logs and fuel records.

Technical Helper Duties

• Assist senior technicians in CCTV, networking and cabilng.
• Perform cable pulling (Cat6, coaxial, fiber) across indoor and outdoor sites.
• Handle drilling, mounting brackets, fixing conduits, trunking, and cable trays.
• Support installation of CCTV cameras, WiFi access points, patch panels, and racks.
• Carry tools, prepare materials, and maintain site cleanliness.
• Perform basic cable termination (RJ45 crimping, patch panel punching).
• Conduct simple cable testing using basic testers.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow PPE requirements (helmet, gloves, safety shoes).
• Practice ladder safety and safe working‑at‑height procedures.
• Ensure no damage to client property during installation.
• Follow supervisor instructions and company safety policies.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of tools and physical installation work.
• Ability to use drill machines, screwdrivers, cable testers, ladders.
• Physically fit; able to lift 20–30 kg equipment.
• Willing to work outdoors and in hot weather when required.
• Experience in CCTV, networking, or ELV installation support.
• Basic understanding of Cat6 cable termination.
