To carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems related to dewatering operations, including submersible pumps, diesel generators, temporary power distribution systems, and control panels while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications

Key Responsibilities

• Dewatering System Installation
• Install and commission dewatering electrical systems.
• Install and connect submersible pumps.
• Perform submersible pump cable jointing using approved joining kits.
• Install wellhead electrical connections.
• Terminate and test pump power cables.
• Install float switches and level sensors where applicable.
• Replace damaged pump cables and connectors.
• Electrical Distribution Works
• Install temporary electrical distribution systems.
• Connect Diesel Generator to Changeover Panel.
• Connect Changeover Panel to SMDB.
• Connect SMDB to Pump Control Panels.
• Connect Control Panels to submersible pumps.
• Install temporary power cables.
• Install cable trays and cable supports.
• Perform cable glanding and termination.
• Carry out insulation resistance (Megger) testing.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in dewatering, construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of DEWA and UAE electrical safety standards is preferred.
