Job Purpose

The Field Attendance Coordinator is responsible for minimizing employee absenteeism and maximizing daily workforce turnout across all Tabasco Camps. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, ground-level operator who conducts daily camp visits to monitor attendance, identify unauthorized absences, coordinate immediate transport solutions to get people to work, and facilitate medical care for genuinely sick employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Monitoring & In-Person Audits: Conduct daily, rotational physical rounds across all assigned Tabasco Camps to audit attendance records and verify physical headcount against daily deployment rosters.
• Absenteeism Control: Investigate all cases of absenteeism immediately. Identify employees who have taken unauthorized, unexcused, or unnecessary leaves and actively counsel/motivate them to return to duty.
• Emergency Transportation Dispatch: Rapidly arrange, coordinate, or personally drive alternate transport vehicles to ferry recovered employees directly to their respective jobsites to minimize operational downtime.
• Sick Leave Management: Promptly identify employees who are genuinely unwell, handle their logistics, and escort or send them to the designated clinic/medical facility for professional care and official medical documentation.
• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain real-time, accurate daily logs of absenteeism, reasons for absence, actions taken, and the total number of employees successfully returned to work. Provide daily updates to management.
• Liaison: Act as the direct bridge between camp residents, site supervisors, and HR to ensure clear communication regarding workforce availability.

Skills & Qualification

• Driving License: Should have valid UAE driving license
• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in camp operations, site logistics, field HR, or workforce coordination in the UAE (Construction, Facilities Management, or Oil & Gas sectors preferred).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and persuasive skills. Ability to handle difficult situations with firmness, empathy, and respect.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is highly advantageous to effectively communicate with the camp workforce.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and quick logistics management skills to handle transport emergencies on the fly.
