Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate carpentry and steel fixing works on site.
• Manage carpenters and steel fixers, assign daily tasks, and monitor progress.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and reinforcement details.
• Ensure proper installation of formwork, shuttering, scaffolding, and concrete structures.
• Supervise cutting, bending, and fixing of reinforcement steel bars as per drawings.
• Check alignment, dimensions, levels, and quality of carpentry and steel works.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other site teams for smooth workflow.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and used properly.
• Monitor work progress and report site issues to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Train and guide workers to improve productivity and workmanship.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
