Job Purpose
We are seeking a hardworking, detail-orientedย General Cleaner / Utility Attendantย to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across our facility. This role is a vital part of our daily operations, ensuring both guest-facing areas and back-of-house workspaces are spotless, safe, and welcoming at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Public Areas & Front-of-House (FOH)
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in the dining, reception, and entryway areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and windows.
- Maintain spotless public restrooms throughout the day (cleaning mirrors, sanitizing counters, toilets, and replenishing soaps/paper towels).
- Empty trash receptacles regularly and ensure proper waste segregation.
2. Back-of-House (BOH) & Operational Support
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain floors, walls, and waste bins in the kitchen, prep, and storage areas.
- Assist with dishwashing, pot-washing, and organizing clean utensils or equipment when required.
- Safely handle, store, and dispose of operational waste and recyclables according to local health and safety regulations.
- Ensure loading areas and back corridors are kept clear, organized, and clean.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience:ย Proven experience as a cleaner, steward, or utility worker, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or commercial sectors.
- Skills:ย Strong attention to detail, physical stamina (ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods), and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge:ย Familiarity with standard cleaning chemicals, sanitation protocols, and basic health and safety standards.
- Communication:ย Basic conversational English to coordinate effectively with the team.
- Attitude:ย Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a professional and respectful demeanor.
Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
