To safely and efficiently operate company buses for the transportation of employees, workers, and authorized personnel between accommodation, project sites, offices, and other designated locations, while ensuring strict compliance with UAE traffic regulations and company HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy buses on designated routes and transport employees to and from project sites, accommodation camps, offices, and other locations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects, damages, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Ensure the bus is maintained in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition at all times.
• Follow approved transportation schedules, routes, speed limits, and company driving procedures.
• Comply strictly with UAE traffic laws, road safety requirements, and company HSE policies.
• Ensure all passengers are seated safely and that seat belts are used where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle inspections, and incidents as required.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, traffic violations, or other incidents immediately to the Transport / Logistics Supervisor.
• Assist passengers when required, particularly during boarding and alighting.
• Ensure unauthorized persons are not transported in company vehicles.
• Exercise additional caution while driving within construction sites, industrial areas, camps, and restricted project zones.
• Follow site-specific traffic management plans and instructions from authorized personnel.
• Coordinate with the Transport Coordinator/Supervisor regarding daily transportation requirements and route changes.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked only in designated areas and secured when unattended.
• Support emergency transportation requirements when instructed by management.
• Perform other transportation-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Safety & Compliance

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety and zero-accident driving.
• Report unsafe road conditions, vehicle defects, and potential hazards immediately.
• Follow company defensive-driving requirements and fatigue-management procedures.
• Do not operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability.
• Maintain required driving documentation and ensure the vehicle’s registration and related documents are valid.
• Comply with client-specific requirements when working on ADNOC or other oil & gas projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid UAE Heavy Bus Driving Licence – Category 6 or applicable UAE licence category.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Bus Driver, preferably in the UAE.
• Previous experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, construction, industrial projects, or manpower transportation is preferred.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and UAE roads and routes.
• Experience transporting employees/workers in large-scale projects or labour camps is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic vehicle safety and daily inspection procedures.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in ADNOC / Oil & Gas / EPC projects, labour camp transportation, or large workforce transportation will be highly preferred.
