Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate company trucks and heavy vehicles for the transportation of materials, equipment, and goods across project sites and designated locations within the UAE. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License and have a strong understanding of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with UAE traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport construction materials, equipment, machinery, and goods to project sites and client locations.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of materials according to schedules.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Verify loading and unloading of cargo and ensure proper securing of loads during transportation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure vehicles are in good operating condition.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, delivery notes, and vehicle maintenance.
• Follow route plans and use GPS/navigation systems effectively.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, logistics personnel, and dispatch teams regarding deliveries and schedules.
• Comply with company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Report accidents, traffic violations, breakdowns, or incidents immediately to management.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials when required.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4 and/or Category 3 & 4, depending on vehicle type).
• Minimum 2–5 years of heavy vehicle driving experience in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, highways, and traffic regulations.
• Experience driving trucks, trailers, tippers, flatbeds, or construction-related heavy vehicles.
• Ability to read and understand delivery documents and route instructions.
• Basic communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours when required.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
