Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and guest amenities.
  • Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and floors.
  • Replenish minibar items, water, tea/coffee supplies, and room amenities when required.
  • Ensure all rooms are properly sanitized and presented before guest arrival.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor immediately.
  • Handle guest requests politely and efficiently.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, cleaning equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Follow hotel health, safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to hotel guidelines.
  • Support deep cleaning projects and assist with public area cleaning when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shifts.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment.
