Parsons is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise field surveys to support construction and infrastructure projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that project layouts, elevations, and alignments meet design and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing field surveys including topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys as per project requirements.
  • Setting out construction works based on approved drawings and specifications.
  • Operating and maintaining surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS systems, levels, and data collectors.
  • Recording and processing field data accurately for use in engineering and construction activities.
  • Assisting the Senior Land Surveyor in verifying site measurements, levels, and alignment of structures and utilities.
  • Coordinating with engineering teams, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure survey data supports construction progress and accuracy.
  • Preparing field sketches, survey notes, and reports for documentation and project records.
  • Identifying discrepancies or potential issues in the field and reporting them promptly to the supervisory team.
  • Adhering to project safety requirements and company procedures during all field activities.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution, subject to approval by the Engineer.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in land surveying, preferably on infrastructure and civil works projects.
  • Proficiency in using modern survey equipment and software including Total Stations, GPS, and AutoCAD.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Prior experience on large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, and drainage networks.
  • Knowledge of local surveying regulations and practices.
  • Experience working in the Gulf region is preferred.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools and data integration is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
