We are seeking a professional and welcoming Lobby Hostess to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience. This position requires someone who is organized, friendly, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Greet and welcome all guests and visitors with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival
  • Serve traditional Arabic coffee to guests and visitors as part of our hospitality offering
  • Communicate with guests in Arabic and English to ensure clear understanding of their needs and preferences
  • Manage the lobby flow and coordinate guest check-in procedures with the front desk team
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Answer inquiries and address guest requests promptly and courteously
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the lobby environment is clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Assist with special requests and resolve guest concerns with empathy and efficiency
  • Monitor lobby activity and ensure security and safety protocols are followed
  • Maintain composure and professionalism while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed
  • Maintain detailed guest preference records and communicate relevant information to appropriate departments to enhance personalized service delivery
  • Assist with coordination of lobby events, conferences, and special occasions to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction
  • Conduct regular lobby inspections and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly

Qualifications

  • Fluent Arabic speaker โ€“ Required
  • Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or corporate environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic & English
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional demeanor with a friendly and approachable personality
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems or similar software (preferred)
  • Experience with guest management systems and CRM platforms (preferred)
  • Additional language capabilities beyond Arabic and English (preferred)
  • Experience in luxury hospitality environments (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed records and documentation accurately
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness in diverse hospitality settings
  • Attention to detail with strong observational skills for identifying safety and maintenance concerns
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
