Litco Industries LLC is looking for a Purchasing Officer with experience in steel, metal, and aluminium fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to support fabrication and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and subcontracting services for steel fabrication and construction projects.
• Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order progress until delivery.
• Coordinate with Estimation, Projects, Production, Stores, and Finance departments.
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Identify alternative suppliers to achieve cost savings and improve lead times.
• Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate procurement to avoid project delays.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE/GCC experience as a Purchasing Officer or Procurement Officer.
• Experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, metal works, aluminium fabrication, or construction is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of local UAE suppliers and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
