Job Summary

The Site Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, leading the on-site security team, and maintaining a safe environment for hotel guests, visitors, and employees. They act as the primary liaison between hotel management and local law enforcement during incidents.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise Security Officers: Oversee the daily activities of the security guard team, including shift briefings, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Training & Development: Conduct regular training drills on emergency response, conflict resolution, and guest relations.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all security personnel are in proper uniform, punctual, and adhering to hotel standards of hospitality.

2. Patrols, Surveillance & Access Control

• Monitoring: Oversee the operation of CCTV systems, fire alarms, and access control systems.
• Physical Patrols: Conduct random patrols of guest floors, parking structures, back-of-house areas, and perimeter points to identify potential security hazards.
• Key Control: Manage and audit the distribution of master keys, electronic key cards, and security assets.

3. Incident Response & Crisis Management

• First Responder: Lead the immediate response to emergencies, including medical crises, fire alarms, natural disasters, or physical altercations.
• Conflict Resolution: De-escalate situations involving intoxicated or disorderly guests/visitors with tact and diplomacy.
• Liaison: Coordinate with local police, fire departments, and medical services when emergency services are required on-property.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

• Safety Inspections: Regularly inspect fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and lighting systems to ensure compliance with local safety regulations.
• Investigation & Reporting: Investigate reports of theft, property damage, or guest complaints, and draft detailed, professional incident reports.
• Loss Prevention: Implement protocols to minimize internal and external theft or fraud.
