Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Assistant cum Driver to manage day-to-day warehouse and store operations at our Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1 facility, while also handling local deliveries and pickups as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of materials, as well as safe and timely transportation of goods and documents between company facilities, clients, and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and reliability at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inspection
- Receive incoming materials, goods, and shipments from suppliers and couriers.
- Inspect all received items for quantity accuracy, quality, and condition against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages, and escalate these promptly to the relevant internal team.
Inventory & Tracking
- Update inventory management systems and trackers accurately upon receipt and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain up-to-date stock records, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Notify the internal team of all receipts to support planning and project coordination.
Storage & Handling
- Organise and store materials in a safe, systematic, and easily retrievable manner.
- Repack materials as required to meet dispatch, client, or safety requirements.
- Ensure the store is maintained in a clean, organised, and compliant condition.
Dispatch & Delivery Coordination
- Prepare and pack materials for dispatch to clients in accordance with order specifications.
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel to schedule and confirm deliveries.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurately labelled and accompanied by the correct documentation.
Driving & Transportation
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver and collect materials, shipments, and documents to/from clients, suppliers, and company facilities.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all deliveries are accompanied by correct documentation and obtain acknowledgment/signatures upon delivery.
- Comply with UAE traffic laws and company vehicle-use policies at all times.
Documentation & Filing
- Complete all required documentation including goods receipt notes, delivery challans, and dispatch records.
- Save, organise, and maintain all shipment bills, invoices, and freight documents in a structured and accessible manner.
- Support periodic stock counts and audits as required.
Requirements
- 2 โ 3 years of experience in a store, warehouse, or logistics role, preferably in a trading or industrial environment.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree is desired; a diploma or equivalent qualification with strong relevant experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for updating trackers and maintaining records.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in deliveries or documentation.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, drivers, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
- Physically capable of handling and organising materials in a warehouse environment.
- Safe driving record with good knowledge of Dubai/UAE roads.

Pay: AED2,500.00 – AED3,500.00 per month
