Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or forklift operator, preferably in the F&B or hospitality sector.
• Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (mandatory).
• Knowledge of safe handling and storage of food products (dry, chilled, and frozen).
• Familiar with FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory methods.
• Experience with inventory management systems / ERP software is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to handle lifting, loading, and stock movement.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
• Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, stack, and move materials safely.
• Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring accuracy of quantities and quality of goods.
• Store food and beverage items in the correct temperature-controlled areas (dry, chilled, frozen).
• Maintain proper inventory records and update stock movement in the system.
• Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconciliation.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and security standards in the storage area.
• Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the Store Supervisor / Manager.
• Ensure the forklift and other equipment are operated safely and maintained properly.

Preferred Background

• Previous experience in F&B, hotel, catering, or large-scale warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and HACCP standards.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software).
