Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimumย 2โ€“4 years of experienceย as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or forklift operator, preferably in theย F&B or hospitality sector.
  • Validย Forklift Operator License/Certificationย (mandatory).
  • Knowledge ofย safe handling and storage of food productsย (dry, chilled, and frozen).
  • Familiar withย FIFO (First In, First Out)ย andย FEFO (First Expired, First Out)ย inventory methods.
  • Experience withย inventory management systems / ERP softwareย is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to handle lifting, loading, and stock movement.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
  • Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • Knowledge ofย food safety standards (HACCP)ย preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift toย load, unload, stack, and move materialsย safely.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring accuracy of quantities and quality of goods.
  • Store food and beverage items in the correctย temperature-controlled areasย (dry, chilled, frozen).
  • Maintain proper inventory records and update stock movement in the system.
  • Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Performย regular stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and security standards in the storage area.
  • Report damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the Store Supervisor / Manager.
  • Ensure the forklift and other equipment areย operated safely and maintained properly.

Preferred Background

  • Previous experience inย F&B, hotel, catering, or large-scale warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge ofย warehouse safety protocols and HACCP standards.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory software).
