Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Reception:ย Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Menu Presentation:ย Present menus and provide detailed explanations of menu items, including specials and recommendations, showcasing a deep understanding of the cuisine and ingredients.
  • Order Management:ย Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements and preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
  • Service Excellence:ย Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, using proper serving techniques and ensuring the correct presentation of dishes.
  • Guest Engagement:ย Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service throughout their dining experience.
  • Collaboration:ย Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
  • Table Maintenance:ย Ensure all tables are properly set with clean linens, polished silverware, and pristine glassware, adhering to the restaurant’s standards of presentation.
  • Issue Resolution:ย Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and courteously, seeking assistance from the restaurant management team when necessary.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:ย Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the restaurant.

Qualifications

  • Experience:ย Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Communication Skills:ย Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus specially Arabic.
  • Professionalism:ย Impeccable grooming and presentation standards.
  • Teamwork:ย Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
